I painted this one last night - 5 x 7. Meanwhile I am working on a new large painting but it's going to take a couple weeks to finish.

another try

Things that are translucent - like light shining through the petals of a flower, or light coming through a yellow pepper are really hard to show. There are colors and ranges of light there that are way beyond the range of paint colors and intensity. It's really hard to make the flowers look right and not look like they might be plastic. So I thought it was worth another try on these tulips while I still have them blooming in the yard. Here's a pink one, 7 x 5.
